Paediatric Outdoor First Aid For Forest Schools
The Paediatric Outdoor First Aid course is similar in nature and style to our Outdoor First Aid course with some critical differences. Forest Schools leaders are required to hold a suitable First Aid Qualification which sits part way between our Outdoor an paediatric courses. At Adventure First Aid we have been working closely with Forest School Training and our Awarding body ITC First Aid to develop an appropriate qualification that is fit for purpose.
This course is not just an Outdoor First Aid course with some paediatric elements. It is a bespoke course with the Early Years setting in mind. It includes a significant proportion of child related issues. Our main aim is to leave you feeling confident in applying First Aid skills in a rural / off the beaten track context. Depending on the age of the children you work with, we are able to include baby resuscitation as well if required.
