Which course to choose?
For employers, you may find it useful to read through the HSE leaflet on assessing your workplace First Aid training needs.
You can also use the HSE Assessment tool to help you decide how many First Aiders at what level you need. You may wish to look at the HSE Approved Code of Practice L74 Appendix 1, 2 & 3
For School teachers, you may find it useful to read through the DfEE booklet on First Aid in Schools.
For outdoor instructors, school teachers who run DofE, Ten Tors, off site activities, climbing walls, most National Governing Body Awards set out guidelines for what constitutes an appropriate First Aid course for each particular qualification.
